Private Residence, l’Order Mondial
August 2, 2026
Ashley, Vice Chargée de Presse
Our second event at this exclusive location, hosted by Llyn and Rodney provided a stunning backdrop for an afternoon of tasting fine wines, and delicious bites prepared by Chef Hans Sauter and Chef Jenny Chan from Vero. The weather was ideal keeping us outside on the veranda until later than our hosts had anticipated.
WELCOME PUNCH
ESPRIT DES CÔTE DES ROSES BRUT ROSE
The nose is elegant, revealing subtle notes of fresh red berries, and white flowers.
PAUL JABOULET AINE PARALLELE 45 BLANC, 2024
A subtle combination of the Rhône Valley’s iconic grape varieties unveils floral and fruit aromas, citrus notes, and a touch of exquisite freshness.
PIERRE SPARR RESERVE PINOT GRIS, 2022
Layers of ripe white peach, delicate white tea, and nuanced herbal undertones weave seamlessly into its elegantly structured frame.
DOMAINE DE L’AIGLE CHARDONNAY, 2023
Fruity aromas (pineapple, vine peach, apricot, almond) and floral (white flower) aromas, coupled with toasty notes in its youth will delight you with their complexity and subtlety.
DOMAINE DE PELLEHAUT ETE GASCON BLANC, 2024
A rich, intense nose of pineapple and passion. The vibrant palate offers citrus notes, exotic fruits and a solo of velvet.
PAUL JABOULET AINE CROZES HERMITAGE LES JALETS SYRAH, 2023
Deep garnet red in color, this wine offers aromas of raspberry, wild strawberry, and spicy notes like licorice, fresh on the palate, soft tannins.
DOMAINE PETER SICHEL ROUGE, 2019
The elegance of the high-altitude Grenaches develops very fine tannins with a touch of Syrah and Carignan. This is expressive and showy with striking intensity and ripeness.
Chef Hans prepared a series of nibbles for us to enjoy, starting with his renowned paté en croute, a veal paté, and a calf brain jelly, followed by salmon crudo, scallops, gyoza, risotto, halibut in saffron sauce, lamb lollipops, and a slice of seared duck breast.
A special thank you to the team at Pacific Wine and Spirits for providing us with a list of the wines we tasted.
Thank you so much Llyn, Rodney, Hans, Jenny, Michael, and everyone that made this afternoon such a treat. Let’s not wait too long before we do it again.
