Teatro Dîner Amical

December 22, 2018

Ashley James – Vice-Chargée de Presse

T’was three nights before Christmas when through the candle glow, the hubbub of prep rang throughout Teatro. The napkins were folded, the stemware polished, the guests were anticipated, dressed in their best, knowing the dinner soon would impress.

The drive downtown this evening was magical, and Olympic Plaza full of whirling skaters.

Guests were greeted with Drappier Champagne accompanied by three hors d’oeuvres, a braised short rib tortellini with cream sauce, aranchini, and tartare with parmesan.

Following the accolade the plate recipients for the evening were announced. This is a Diner Amîcal tradition. One plate goes to someone in the front of the house, and one plate goes to a member of the kitchen.

This evening the front of house plate went to Taylor Simpson, Teatro’s Sommelier and AGM.

Pastry Chef Daniel Ramon received the second plate for his contribution to this evening’s menu.

On behalf of Chaîne de Rôtisseurs thank you very much Teatro.
