Private Residence, l’Order Mondial

August 10, 2025

 Ashley, Vice Chargée de Presse

A change from the smoke of forest fires, Calgary has been experiencing a significant amount of rain, enjoyed by the landscape, but it had our hosts worried, that this weekend would be less than ideal to host a patio, wine and nibbles event.

Luckily, the sun shone all afternoon, and no one wanted to go home, we could have stayed until dusk, which I think some of us did.

Our hosts for this afternoon, Llyn and Rodney, gave us a meticulously thought out and well-prepared tasting. With an additional 2 helpers Raul and Kevin, alongside a couple of guest helpers the afternoon was a unique treat.

Our afternoon drew to a close, and everyone stayed, probably longer than we should have, but the event was a sheer delight, it was a shame to leave the secluded patio where some delicious memories had been made.

Linda and Tammy from Pacific Wines and Spirits created a wonderful info booklet that told us all about the wines, and gave us space to write notes about our tasting, this was such a great addition to the afternoon, and has been included as pictures above. Thank you so much for providing these.

Thank you so much Llyn, Rodney, Raul, Kevin, Linda, and everyone that made this afternoon such a treat. Let’s not wait too long before we do it again.
